SASANIAN KINGS, Shahpur II, AD 309-379. AE unit (9.98 gm; 27 mm). No mint. Draped bust in merlon crown / Fire-altar with attendants, bust in flame. Gyselen 98var; Gobl Ia/6a. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Double borderline of dots on bverse and reverse. Nice reddish and green patina. Choice Good VF. Extremely rare.
