Islands off Thrace, Thasos. Ca. 500-480 B.C. AR stater (20 mm, 8.46 g). Satyr advancing right, carrying protesting nymph / Quadripartite incuse square. Le Rider 2; SNG Copenhagen 1009. Toned. Sharply struck, some porosity and roughness. Nice very fine.
