Mesopotamia, Edessa. Septimius Severus. Æ (24 mm, 7.30 g, 7 h). AVTO KAICAP CEOVHPOC, laureate head of Septimius Severus right / [ABΓ]APOC B-ACIΛEVC, bust of Abgar right, wearing tiara; scepter before. Cf. BMC 14ff; cf. SNG Copenhagen 196. Dark brown patina with some earthen deposits. Good fine.
