Description
A striking Nazca bowl from Peru, c. 400 – 600 AD. This thin-walled polychrome vessel is 7-1/2” in diameter and is decorated with recurved step-fret designs executed against a black background, with chestnut brown wash used to cover the interior. Highly burnished, displays beautifully. Ex Espinoza estate.
