Description
A pair of beautifully detailed Luristan bronze buckles, c. 1200 – 800 BC. The first is 2-1/4” long and depicts a two-headed dragon, exquisitely decorated with intricate designs on both sides. The second features the finely sculpted heads of two swans or ducks, with a center piece that may have once held inlays. Rare examples, fine patina. Ex Stuart Bart estate. Value range: $250 - $400
