A nice yellow faience amulet of Bes, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075 – 664 BC, his bust facing wearing plumed headdress and aegis. Minor chip to corner of headdress, but quite scarce in yellow faience. H: 31mm. Suspension hole below headdress. Ex Negus Collection, UK, acquired in the early 20th Century. Value Range $250 - $300.
