Marcus Aurelius. A.D. 161-180. Æ as (26 mm, 8.92 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 177. M ANTONINVS AVG GER-M SARM TR[P X]XXI, laureate head of Marcus Aurelius right / FELICI/TATI AVG/P P in three lines above, [C]OS III in exergue, [S] C across lower field, galley rowed right by three oarsmen; at stern, Neptune standing right, foot on rock, holding trident and aplustre. RIC 1195; BMC 1618; Cohen 191. Rough brown surfaces. Very fine.
