SEVERVS AVG PART MAX, laureate head of Septimius Severus right / RESTITVTOR VRBIS, emperor standing left, sacrificing from patera over a lit altar and holding reversed spear in left hand. RIC 167a; BMC 202; RSC 599. Attractively toned, sharply struck. Nearly extremely fine.
