Caracalla. A.D. 198-217. AR denarius (18 mm, 3.54 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 208. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate head of Caracalla right / PONTIF TR P XI COS III, PROF in exergue, emperor, holding transverse spear, on horseback right, spurning captive. RIC 108; BMC 574; RSC 510. Nice very fine.
