ROMAN EMPIRE: Hadrian, AR Cistophorus, Sardes, after AD 128, NGC VF, Strike 3/5, Surface 3/5, Overstruck. Obverse: Bare Head of Hadrian Right. Reverse: Ceres, veiled, advancing right, two grain ears in right hand, transverse scepter in left. RIC II 486. Metcalf type 46. Overstruck on an earlier Marc Antony cistophorus with clear wreath and legend at edge.
