Description
CHINA: Qing Dynasty, Wen Zong, AD 1851-1861, Iron Cash (23mm, 3.7g). Cast 1854-55 at Beijing mint. Obverse: Four Chinesse characters Xian Feng Tong Bao. Reverse: Boo Ciowan. Hartill 22.722. Iron coins were issued because the war against the rebellion caused a copper shortage. VF.
