Parthian Kingdom. Mithradates III. 87-80 B.C. AR drachm (18 mm, 3.94 g, 12 h). Ekbatana. Diademed and draped bust of Orodes I left, wearing tiara decorated with triple border of dots and star / Archer seated right on omphalos, holding bow. Sellwood 31.5; Shore 122. A very nice example. Well centered and struck. Light iridescent toning. Extremely fine.
