Sasanian Kingdom. Varhran V. A.D. 420-438. AR drachm (30 mm, 4.02 g, 3 h). AW (Ohrmazd-Ardaxsir), ca. A.D. 425-428. Bust of Varhran V right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on crescent / Fire altar with ribbons and bust right within flames wearing mural crown with crescent; flanked by two attendants holding spears. SNS type Ia/2; Göbl type I/2. Lightly toned, minor deposits. Very fine.
