Sasanian Kingdom. Peroz I. A.D. 457/9-484. AR drachm (26 mm, 3.57 g, 3 h). DA (Darabgird), ca. A.D. 477-484. Bust of Peroz I right, wearing crown with two wings, frontal crescent, and korymbos set on crescent, ribbon over each shoulder / Fire altar with ribbons and bust of Ahura-Mazda right in flames, flanked by two attendants wearing flat-topped crowns with korymboi; Pahlavi rast(g) on altar . SNS type III/1e; Göbl type III/1. Lightly toned. Extremely fine.
