Description
Palmyrene, Palmyra. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 2nd-3rd centuries A.D. Æ (10 mm, 1.38 g, 12 h). Two radiate, draped and bearded busts confronted / Bull standing right slightly above ground line, head facing; above, crescent. Cf. De Saulcy p. 61, 8 (left figure radiate, right wearing modius), pl. XXV, 24 (both figures radiate). Very rare. Earthen green patina. Good very fine for the issue.
