Anonymous. Ca. 214-212 B.C. Æ triens (32 mm, 25.08 g, 12 h). Lucerian mint. Head of Minerva right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; above, four pellets; below chin, L / [RO]MA above, prow of galley right; below, four pellets. Crawford 43/3b; cf. Sydenham 125. Very rare. Rough green patina. Fine.
A duplicate from the RBW Collection of Roman Republican Coins. Purchased privately from Tempestini, 11 June 1995.
