Anonymous. After 82 B.C. Æ semis (21 mm, 8.74 g, 4 h). Sicilian mint(?). Laureate head of Saturn right; behind, S / ROMA in exergue, prow of galley right; above, S; before, dolphin. Crawford -; Sydenham -; BMCRR -; cf. Kestner 2800-12. Dark sandy-green patina. Good fine.

This coin was perhaps struck to finance military operations during the campaign of Sextus Pompey in Sicily.
