SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head of Septimius Severus right / P M TR P XIII COS III P P, Jupiter standing facing, head right, cloak over arm, holding thunderbolt and scepter; at his feet to left, eagle standing left, head right. RIC 196; BMC 471; RSC 469. Unusually sharp eagle. Extremely fine.
