CELTIC. Eastern Celts. Circa late 2nd - 1st Century BC. AR Tetradrachm (36mm - 16.18 g). Imitating Alexander III from Messembria. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand, scepter in left; helmet and ΔA before, monogram under throne. Kostial 886 (same obverse die); Cf. Price 1047. VF, lightly toned, slightly double struck, surfaces evenly tough on the obverse.
