Contemporary Imitation. Circa 1st Century BC. AR Denarius (17mm - 2.65 g). Diademed head of Apollo right; symbol behind / Horseman galloping left, holding sword and head of a barbarian. Copying the types of C. Piso L.f. Frugi and M. Sergius Silus. Near VF, slight bend in flan from a tiny knock.
