Ilkhanid, Abu Sa'id. AH 716-736 (AD 1316-1335). AE heavy fals (2.92 gm; 25 mm). Mardin mint. Dated AH 731. Obv. Lion walking left, sunface above, and mint name in between. Rev. Ruler’s title and name, date in margin. Unusually heavy. Nicely centered. Minor weakness. Nice brown reddish patina. Choice VF. Very rare.
