Beorhtmaer, moneyer. + ÆDELRÆD REX ANGLOX, bare-headed and draped bust of Aethelred II left / + BYR-HTMÆ-R M·Ω-O PIN, long voided cross. North 774; SCBC 1151. Attractive old cabinet toning. Good style and extremely fine.
