Thessaly, Larissa. Ca. 380-365 B.C. AR drachm (19 mm, 5.98 g, 11 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, hair bound with ampyx, wearing necklace / ΛA-P-IΣA, Thessalos, wearing petasos and chlamys, standing right, restraining horse running right. Lorber & Shahar series 3, dies O1/R4, specimen a (this coin); BCD Thessaly 1151 corr. (same rev. die); Herrmann pl. VI, 8. Nicely toned. Very fine.
