Antoninus Pius. A.D. 138-161. Æ sestertius (30 mm, 26.48 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 154/5. ANTONINVS AVG PI-VS P P TR P XVIII, laureate bust of Antoninus Pius right, slight drapery on far shoulder / LIBERTAS COS IIII, S C across field, Libertas standing facing, head left, holding pileus and scepter. RIC 929; BMC 1964; Cohen 543. Warm reddish-brown and tan patina, some imperfections in the flan apparent on the obverse. Good very fine.
