Description
[World]. Lot of three bamboo tally sticks, from Qing Dynasty China. Late 19th-early 20th centuries. All with characters on either side. These were privately issued as tokens during periods of coinage shortfalls and continued to circulate well into the early 20th century. Intact, measuring 85 mm on average. LOT SOLD AS-IS, RETURNS NOT PERMITTED.
