Lucania, Velia. Ca. 334-300 B.C. AR nomos (22 mm, 7.42 g, 5 h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with a griffin / [YE]ΛHTΩN, lion prowling left; above, Φ; below, [EK] monogram erased from die. Williams 298 (O165/R228); SNG ANS 1312 (same dies); HN Italy 1289. Lightly toned. Die-break on reverse. Fine.
