Description
Macedonian Kingdom. Philip II. 359-336 B.C. Æ unit (18 mm, 6.06 g, 11 h). Uncertain Macedonian mint, after 353 B.C. Diademed head of Apollo left / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ, youth on horseback prancing left; below, head of Helios(?) (indistinct). SNG ANS 872-4. Black patina, die-break on lower obverse, roughness atop the control on the reverse. Nice very fine.
