Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 B.C. AR drachm (17 mm, 4.05 g, 11 h). Kolophon, ca. 322-319 B.C. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / [Α]ΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, star; in right field, spear head. Price 1759. Lightly toned. Nearly very fine.
