Description
An excellent Kushan head, c. 1st – 3rd century AD. This lovely example is 2-1/8” high and depicts a beautiful female. Her hair is delicately formed and parted in the middle, with the diadem headdress showing the Hellenistic influence on the region. Mounted. Ex Stuart Bart estate. Value range: $175 - $250
