Lot 231: ANTIQUITIES, Kushan animals

A pair of fine Kushan animal effigies, c. 1st – 3rd century AD. The bird is 4” long and is nicely detailed with long tail feathers. The other is a 4” long feline or sea lion rolled on its side, with teeth visible in the open mouth. Both have good mineral deposits on the white dressing and small losses. Ex Stuart Bart estate.
