A choice Moche orangeware vessel from Peru, c. 400 – 700 AD. This lovely example is 8-1/4” high and is topped with the head of a Monkey deity, which is enhanced with incising and white paint. He is adorned with a segmented collar and perforated ears. In excellent condition, with the burnished slip showing good mineral deposits. Ex Espinoza estate. Value range: $500 - $600
