A fine Jalisco female figure from West Mexico, c. 200 BC – 350 AD. She is 5-7/8” high and is posed seated, with hands held to the mid-section. A simple headband adorns the elongated head and is has multiple rings in each ear. Her feet, with clearly defined toes, stick out from under the full-length skirt. Intact, good mineral deposits. Museum deaccession. Value range: $350 - $400
