Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 B.C. Æ (19 mm, 5.81 g, 12 h). Alexandria. Diademed head of Zeus-Ammon right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt; between legs, Λ. Svoronos 417; SNG Copenhagen 164. Cleaned brassy surfaces starting to retone. Very fine.
