Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 B.C. AR 1/4 ma'ah (6 mm, 0.21 g). Jerusalem, ca. 261/0-246 B.C. Diademed head of Ptolemy I right / Eagle standing left with wings spread; to left, ['YHD']. TJC 32; Hendin 1087. Dark find patina. Reverse is quite crude, making the type illegible. Otherwise extremely fine with one of the sharpest portraits of Ptolemy that we've seen on one of these.
