Head of Alexander the Great right, wearing elephant's skin headdress / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ ΠΤΟΛΕΜ]ΑΙΟΥ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt. Svoronos 1493; SNG Copenhagen 334. Scarce type. Reddish-brown and tan patina. Very fine.
