IMP C M AVR CARVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carus right / VIRTVS AV-GG, emperor standing right, holding scepter and receiving globe from Jupiter standing left, holding long scepter; TR//XXI. RIC 128. Large flan highlighting the typical crude style of the mint. Brown patina, minor porosity on reverse. Very fine.
