D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG, diademed, helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust of Valentinian II right, holding spear pointed forwards and shield / GLORIA ROMANORVM, emperor standing left, head right, on galley sailing left, extending arm; at helm, Victory seated left, steering with rudder; (wreath)//TESA. RIC 44a.2; LRBC 1832. Brown patina with coppery higlights, minor roughness on reverse. Choice very fine.
