Sasanian Kingdom. Varhran II. A.D. 276-293. AR drachm (28 mm, 3.99 g, 10 h). Bust of Varhran II right, wearing winged crown with korymbos, facing bust of prince left, wearing kolah with boar's head / Fire altar; flanked by two attendants, each wearing crown, left with korymbos. Göbl type IV/2a. Light porosity. Patchy toning. Very fine.
