Sasanian Kingdom. Shapur III. A.D. 383-388. AR drachm (25 mm, 3.92 g, 3 h). Mint VI (AW [Ohrmazd-Ardaxšir]). Bust of Shapur III right, wearing flat-topped crown with korymbos / Fire altar with ribbons and facing bust of Ahura Mazda in flames; flanked by two attendants, each wearing flat-topped crown with korymbos. SNS type Ib2/1b. A little crude. Good very fine.
