GALBA. 68-69 AD. AR Denarius (18mm - 3.09 g). Rome mint. IMP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG, laureate head right / DIVA AVGVSTA, Livia standing left, holding patera in right hand, scepter in left. RIC I 186; BMCRE 8; RSC 55. VF, toned, removed from jewelry and the edge has been filed to make the coin round, indent on edge, numerous light scratches, particularly behind Galba's head and around Livia's head, small flan crack. Despite the problems, not bad looking in hand until you put a glass on it.
