DENMARK. Frederik IX and Margrethe. 1972. Issued by Sporrong. Pair of medals struck in 1972 to commemorate the change of monarchs. One medal shows the bust of Frederik IX, the other the bust of Queen Margarethe. The medals have a total weight of 113 grams and are struck in .999 silver. The edition was limited to 3000 sets and this is set #1388. Lot also includes copies of the same medals struck in bronze. All medals housed in their original issue cases, as struck.
