NORWAY. Bergen. 1970. AV Medal. (42mm - 48 g). Issued to celebrate the 900th anniversary of the foundation of Bergen. Copying a penny of Olav Kyrre. Struck in 90% gold, this medal contains 1.388 oz. of gold, $1940 at $1400/oz gold. As issued in original box, this is number 326 in a series of 2000. Lot also includes an example struck in .900 silver that weighs 26.24 grams, also as issued. Two (2) medals in lot.
