NORWAY. Norwegian Independence Jubilee. The obverse features a medal of Haakon VII and the Norwegian shield set on a wreath, the reverse shows the building in Eidsvold where the constitution was signed on May 17, 1814 and portraits of the men responsible for the constitution and independence. The medal is struck in .925 silver and weighs 142.75 grams, 4.24 oz. of silver. Medal shows no issue marks though I believe it was struck in the early 1970's. As struck.
