SWEDEN. Carl XVI Gustaf. 1973. Lot includes two 40mm medals issued by Sporrong, one in .999 silver, the other in bronze, struck to celebrate the crowning of Carl XVI Gustaf. The obverse shows the head of Carl and the reverse a crown. The silver medal weighs 48.5 grams, 1.56 oz., and is number 3677 of an original issue of 5000. The bronze weighs 41.75 grams and is number 4157 of an original issue of 7000. Both housed in original, matching, wooden display cases. Two (2) medals in lot.
