ISLANDS off THRACE. Thasos. Circa 148-90/80 BC. AR Tetradrachm (33mm - 16.83 g). Wreathed head of Dionysos right / Nude Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club and lion's skin; monogram left. SNG Copenhagen 1040; Le Rider 52. VF, nicely toned, a few minor deposits on the obverse.
