KINGS of THRACE. Lysimachos. 323-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm - 17.08 g). Alexandria Troas mint. Struck 297/6-282 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander right / Athena seated left, holding Nike in her extended right hand, left arm leaning on her shield; AP monogram and bee to inner left, [thunderbolt] in exergue. Thompson 159; Müller 433. Good VF, lightly toned.

The thunderbolt in the exergue appears to have been partially erased from the die. The exergue is now slightly raised and there are faint traces of the thunderbolt still visible. Interesting.
