Description
Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, A.D. 287-293. Æ antoninianus (23 mm, 2.56 g, 6 h). Camulodunum. IMP C CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius right / PROVIDE AVG, Providentia standing facing, head left, holding patera and cornucopiae; S C. RIC 502. Green patina with a hint of silvering. Nearly very fine.
