Description
Roman. Ca. 300 B.C.-A.D. 400. Lot of three silver rings. A nice group of three silver rings all set with either gemstones or glass. The largest has a bulbuous floral design on the sides and is set with a polished, multihued stone, probably carnelian or agate. The stone is cracked and has a few chips. The second largest is set with a polished red stone, probably carnelian. It has a simple beaded design around the setting and on the band. The smallest is set with a chipped bluish-green stone or possibly glass and has a simple incised design at the front and back sides of the setting.
