Description
Roman. 1st-3rd centuries A.D. Lot of two glass jewelry insets. The first measures 18 mm across and is a translucent yellow or light brown in color. It depicts the head of Serapis to the right, a kalathos atop his head. Some patina and pitting, and lightly worn. The second is a translucent deep royal blue, 16 mm across, and shows the confronted figures of a goat on the left and Pan on the right. It has light deposits on the reverse.
