Kingdom of Persis. Artaxerxes (Ardaxshir) I. 3rd century B.C. AR drachm (19 mm, 4.02 g, 4 h). Bearded head of Ardashir I right, wearing kyrbasia with lowered cheekpieces / King standing right, worshipping before fire altar; standard to right. Klose & Müseler 2/7; Alram 523; Sunrise 564. Nice large flan. Extremely fine.
